It has been missing since 2019 – a year that seems so far away! – but finally on 2
april
the School Marathonwas back, a race for children and teenagers
which even had 13,000 participants and supporters the last time it was run. From
This year Eat Pink was thesponsor for this exciting non-competitive race,
aimed at young people from 4 to 16 years-old from schools in Milan and its province as well as their families.

Sharing the fun
In six years, more and more people have taken part in the School Marathon. It is
a non-competitive 3 km run that winds through the City Life park and the
Marathon Village, in Milan. You buy a ticket to take part, a small price with a big impact,
with a big impact, given that half of this amount is donated forteaching materials and
sports equipment for the schools
of these young students. Before the adrenaline on the starting line
all the young people registered for the race are also given an official shirt and medal,
plus a snack kit and a gift pack offered by the race’s partners.
The School Marathon wants to develop the role of schools, which are where young people
discover and nurture their talents, interests and curiosity, and where they start to experience
how sport helps stimulate well-being and creativity.

What a synergy!
The School Marathon project, with title sponsor 2022 Levissima, s organized by now
“historical” Milano Marathon together with OPES (Sports Education Organization)
with the aim of promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. Health, lightness and
fun were an irresistible attraction for Eat Pink, per la prima volta sponsor
of the School Marathon
, for the first time to support sports practice and movement in free time,
together with a balanced diet: all habits that contribute tophysical
and mental well-being
and which must be passed on from an early age.
The event was able to count on a widespread communication campaign, not only on
social channels, but also on the pages of national press organs.
The result speaks for itself: it was a day of celebration with sports champions and lots of it
fun for everyone!
