Eat Pink for Food Bank: redistribute to include

The virtuous path taken by Eat Pink through Regusto does not stop: thanks to this collaboration
more and more meals are in fact going to those most in need.

The year 2023 opens with a new and important donation from Eat Pink, with the recipient being a
great organization such as Banco Alimentare, the Italian NGO that works for free to redistribute goods
food to those most in need.

As many as 212 kilograms of produce, the equivalent of 1,413 servings, were donated in January through the platform
Regusto, with which Eat Pink has been collaborating since spring last year (when 392 kilograms
of produce was donated).

In addition to the human and social value of the initiative, Eat Pink recognizes great importance at
sustainability level to the recovery of food that otherwise becomes waste, fueling waste. For example,
with the amount of food transmitted to the Food Bank, in January alone we managed to
save the planet 1,379 kg of CO2 that would otherwise have been unnecessarily dispersed into the environment. The
figure is in addition to the 2,546 kg of CO2 saved in 2022.

Only thanks to the synergy between companies, associations and intermediaries like Regusto is it possible to fight against a
waste that sees more than 30 kg of food per capita become waste every year. It is certainly a long and
challenging journey, but one that Eat Pink has decided to undertake with continuity and a spirit of responsibility.
Education in sharing and respect for the planet are the values in which the company believes every day and which
is committed to passing on to this generation and to future generations, with a view to a present, but above all a
future, that is more sustainable and inclusive.
