PASSIONATE ABOUT RUGBY!

PASSIONATE ABOUT RUGBY!

On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 May, the now legendary “Città di Treviso” Mini Rugby Tournament ,ook place, now in its 42nd year. On the sports pitches of the city of Treviso and the nearby municipality of Paese (TV), the return of this event was celebrated with much joy, after an enforced break of two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It really was a huge celebration for fans of rugby of all ages!

Contagious enthusiasm

This national sports event was organised by the Benetton Rugby Club , Treviso’s team. 5000 children and teenagers from all over Italy faced each other every day, from the Under 5 category up to Under 15s, the latter with both boys and girls’ teams.

As a sponsor, Eat Pink wanted to be part of this Mini Rugby Tournament, a sports event that encapsulates many of the values which the company believes in and wants to promote to the general public. here is sport, of course, but not in the sense of mere competition, but rather as an opportunity for fun and sharing,as a meeting place for people of different ages and interests, united by their great passion. Nutrition and exercise are strictly related, so it is no coincidence that Eat Pink pork is light and particularly recommended for people who want to live a healthy life – like athletes – and younger people are especially susceptible to this message.

Eat Pink took part in the tournament as a sponsorand the brand was there with its colourful graphicson the sports pitches where the games took place. Of course, during meals, Eat Pink meat was the star of the show: young people were able to recharge their energy and one day eat tasty sausages and then the next day incredibly tender loin, while waiting for the dish they had fun with crosswords printed on the paper placemats provided by Eat Pink.

The award ceremony took place on Sunday 22 May, with a large audience and plenty of emotion. Eat Pink had the great pleasure of awarding a prize to one of the winning teams, at the end of an engaging experience together with the children and teenagers.
