It is perseverance that makes great achievements.
And Eat Pink, together with the Regusto platform, continues to work with dedication to achieve one of the
great goals of our time: to safeguard Planet Earth and the lives of all beings.
Just today, on the occasion of Earth Day, or Earth Day established in 2007, we tell you
how one of the projects the company holds closest to its heart is progressing: the fight against food waste,
an issue inextricably linked to the health of the environment.
In fact, food waste contributes significantly to global pollution, because in addition to
so much food that is still edible, the resources needed to produce it
(fuels, land, water, energy and human effort) are wasted every day.
That is why we have been effectively collaborating with the virtual storefront Regusto for more than a year to donate
our food to nonprofits and associations such as Banco Alimentare and Opera Don Calabria Foundation.
The latter, founded in 2004 in Verona, aims to help people with physical, mental and
sensory disabilities, supporting them with services dedicated to families as well.
We recently earmarked 300 kilograms of products for free to this reality, which corresponds to about
600 equivalent meals. A good gesture for society, but also for the environment, because it saves
more than 1,800 kg of CO2.

The collaboration between Eat Pink and Regusto has so far brought a total of
904 kg of food to the tables of those most in need, equivalent to 1,808 equivalent meals and 5,732 kg of carbon dioxide saved at
Planet.
These are concrete actions that, if carried out at the right time and in synergy, can lift
our Planet step by step from the critical situation it is in.
Happy Earth Day to all!
