Eat Pink for flooding in Romagna: solidarity at the table.

Eat Pink for flooding in Romagna: solidarity at the table.

In front of the disastrous flood that hit Romagna, Eat Pink did not remain indifferent.
In order to be close to the stricken countries, the Carpi-based company decided to partner with the volunteer association
Grill For Drinkss of Pegognaga by supporting a wonderful social initiative, to bring back some relief
and lightheartedness to those Romagnoli who have always been undisputed masters and
dispensers of enthusiasm, hospitality and cheerfulness.

The idea came to fruition in a weekend of food and solidarity in Castel Bolognese, one of the affected municipalities:
grills and pizzas gave residents (and others) a weekend of joy and confidence, thanks to the
cooperation between numerous businesses and volunteers who provided products, tools and
energy totally free of charge.

More than 800 kilograms of meat were donated by Eat Pink to make up the tasty and nutritious meals served to more than
1,500 people including citizens, volunteers and law enforcement, the army and especially evacuees: a symbol of the
sincere affection that the Emilia-based company has for neighboring Romagna.

The feather in the cap were the Costine cooked at low temperature with paprika and rosemary flavor,
appreciated and praised on social networks by those who got to taste our 100% Italian lean pink meat and
from the heart of Emilia. 520 kg were cooked and served, and the remainder were donated to the Pro Loco of Castel
Bolognese, once again in the spirit of the fight against waste that Eat Pink carries forward in every project.
Sharing, friendship and solidarity were the main drivers of this initiative to encourage the
inhabitants to get back on their feet after days of hardship and worry: Tin Bota Romagna!
