The commitment continues: the first food donation in 2024

Continuing along the path of combating food waste and decreasing environmental impact it has been on for years now, Eat Pink recently renewed its commitment with a significant new product donation through the Regusto platform.

The recipient in this case was the Fede Cristiana Voluntary Association of Fidenza. Consisting of 123 kg of 100% Italian pink pork, equivalent to 246 meals, this new donation supported many families in the province of Parma and Reggio Emilia. Not only that: this gesture translates the principles of solidarity, corporate social responsibility and attention to sustainability into concreteness.

#iorecovery: educating for sustainability

In fact, donations made by Eat Pink not only provide sustenance to people in need, but also play an active role in spreading awareness. They help reduce food waste and CO2 emissions in the food sector, and their storytelling raises community awareness of the importance of responsible use of resources and care for the environment.

At a time in history when addressing climate change is an increasingly urgent challenge, Eat Pink in fact knows how important it is for companies to be active in sustainable practices and to engage the public by fostering a widespread responsible lifestyle. Collaborations between companies and nonprofits are therefore very valuable, as part of a circular economy that promotes the reduction of waste and environmental impact.
