EAT PINK AT CIBUS 2022: How did it go?

EAT PINK AT CIBUS 2022: How did it go?

News from the Eat Pink stand!

From 3 to 6 May, the 2022 edition of Cibus was held at Fiere di Parma, the International Food Trade Show, an unmissable event for everyone in the agri-food chain in Italy and around the world.

Eat Pink was at Cibus with a stand whose star feature was the new Tender Loin product, launched at the trade show. The 250 g pack contains slices of incredibly tender and light pork loin ready for cooking, in fully recyclable packaging.

Attending this international trade show was also a chance to start talking about the brand again in person, with tasters of Eat Pink products and targeted communication that promoted its image. The trade show involved busy, extremely well-attended days, when we saw a real desire to return to “normality”, which has been much longed-for over the past two years. We got to know very interested new customers and were able to meet the company’s suppliers, who contribute to the quality of Eat Pink products.

A great comeback in person

The 2020 edition of Cibus was cancelled due to the Covid-19 pandemic, so the trade show – which is usually held every two years – returned earlier in 2021 and then again this year, reaching visitor numbers that were very close to pre-pandemic levels. It was a huge success!
This shows the great success of the event and is cause for optimism with a view to Italy’s economic recovery, especially in a sector where Italy has historically been the leading player. In fact, Cibus is an important chance to test out the international food market and to build relationships among professionals, companies – from the largest to niche brands – and buyers willing to invest in Made in Italy.
